New Hayes TrimLine™ Rollformer Produces More Trim at Lower Cost

MOUNDRIDGE, KS – Hayes International, a member of The Bradbury Group of companies, has introduced TrimLine™ Rollformers designed to help metal building manufacturers boost trim production and reduce costs. TrimLine Rollformers are ideally suited for shops that need more trim than can be practically or efficiently produced by folders or press brakes. The company says ten-fold increases in output are possible.

For durability, Hayes TrimLine Rollformers are built with heavy-duty components comparable to those used on larger machines. They feature full OSHA guarding, quick-adjust bearing guides, and multiple control options, all geared to efficient one-man operation. Units have sealed bearings, high-torque electric motors, and rugged chain drives. According to Hayes engineer Paul Cooper, “We applied common sense to come up with a solution for shops that have outgrown slower options and want a machine that’s easy to use, robustly built, and offers great value plus long-term savings.”

Hayes International configures each TrimLine Rollformer to fit customer applications. Hayes engineers analyze trim requirements to determine the most economical solutions for producing multiple shapes. Sometimes two independent rafts will need to be placed adjacent to each other on the TrimLine base in a Side By Side® Rollformer configuration. An experienced field engineer takes charge of profile analysis and follows through with the actual machine and tool design, installation supervision, and on-site testing.

Headquartered in Rotorua, New Zealand, Hayes International provides U.S. sales and service through the offices of The Bradbury Group in Moundridge, KS. The Bradbury Group consists of five companies that share resources and manufacture a broad array of rollforming and related equipment. The Group includes The Bradbury Co., Inc., American Machine & Rollform Tech, Inc., Beck Automation LLC, Hayes International, and Marion Die & Fixture. To facilitate international business, the Group also includes Bradbury International UK Ltd. and Bradbury Machinery (Shanghai) Co. Ltd.

The Bradbury Group companies make a variety of rollformers designed for fast tooling and section changes, including trim, panel, purlin and structural section rollformers. They also design and manufacture automatic levelers, high-speed presses and shears, hydraulic punch and cutoff systems, folders, automation controls, rollforming tools and dies, and other coiled steel handling and processing equipment.
